It sits its entire 42kg body in your lap and tries for a snuggle... (of course I hug the sweatheart back)
Firstly, I love Chesna's computer. It is awesome for typing.
Secondly, I am starting to be concerned that I am getting depressed. I dunno, there are just wierd things pointing me toward the fact that I am depressed. Which is stupid seeing as I am going to europe at the end of the year.
Speaking of europe, is it sad that the two things I am looking forward to the most is the Natural History Museum in London, and the Medieval History Museum in France?
Work is so much fun. I have developed a new favourite dog, although they keep creating more problems for me. The owners of another dog that was boarding came to visit, and this once-quiet dog, is not the rowdiest. I wish they could stay away, and yet at the same time, I can hardly blame them.
I have a new futon in the flat. it is nice and hard, and so the next person that sleeps over can crash on it without damage to their back.
Yesterday I became my sister's taxi service again, dropping them all off to the ball.
Hurjehan and I have watched the first episodes of Merlin and Supernatural together. Gotta say, the take on the angels in Supernatural is awesome, and how they should be seen. Merlin is as fun as usual, though they are starting to push the Gwen/Arthur storyline. I think they could have waited a few more seasons for that - it has changed the entire dynamic of the four 'youngsters'.
I am really craving getting a dog. Although I keep changing what breeds I would get, I keep going back to staffies. They are the sweetest dogs, and unlike others with similar dispiositions (rotweilers, dobermans) they are not huge, or have breathing problems (Brittish buldogs). It makes me wonder why you would make any of those dogs guard dogs, because so many other breeds are so much more touchy than these bulldogs/bull terriers etc.
I'll admit, when the rotty at work growls, I pray that the muzzle is well fixed on his head. But he has yet to turn around and try bite (unlike the golden retriever or the Blue heeler or beagles we have at work) He just growls, and that is it. Then once you have taken the temperature, and removed the muzzle, he is ready to play again (yesterday I couldnt get back up because I had 42kg of rotty sitting on me vying for my attention).
I went to Ross's farm last weekend. Another guest brought their dog along (Cavalier King Charles x Bischon). I caught myself watching him poo, as though he was one of the dogs at work that i have to watch. He sepnt the entire time trying to flush out a rabbit hiding in the shed, and then when the rabbit escaped, and moved to another corner of the shed, he didn't chase after it, he stayed trying to get to wherever it had previously been. Strange dog :P
I acted as surgical assistant at TAFE - no fainting spells - I had so much fun and Beverly (the vet) want to sign off my book - aparently I did well. She even let me suture the skin. It was awesome!!!!! Then for the afternoon, we went on a tour of Murdoch uni. It was rediculously awesome.
